Hi, I’m Meg — the artist behind Broom Tree Portrait Studio, and a mom of four.
This studio was built from my genuine love for childhood, imagination, storytelling, and creating beautiful things. I love the details — the gowns, the florals, the textures, the atmosphere, the excitement children bring when they step into something that feels magical.
But more than anything, I care about creating an experience that feels personal. Not rushed. Not overly posed. Not stressful.
I know how quickly childhood changes because I’m living it too. And I think that’s why this work matters so deeply to me.
I want families to leave with more than beautiful portraits. I want them to leave with memories attached to them.
Living in a house that is rarely quiet and always full has shaped the way I see childhood. I understand how quickly seasons shift — and how easily the magic of this stage can be overlooked.
That perspective guides my work.
I create portrait experiences that are calm, intentional, and thoughtfully styled — where children are invited to step fully into imagination, and families are given space to see themselves with fresh eyes.
The gowns, the styling, the atmosphere — they are chosen carefully, not to overpower, but to elevate what is already there.
