Your session begins with thoughtful preparation, allowing you to relax into the experience from the moment you arrive. Wardrobe, styling, and flow have been carefully considered so the focus can shift away from logistics and toward presence.
From there, everything slows. I guide gently, offering calm direction while leaving space for the moments that naturally unfold — the familiar gestures, the closeness, the quiet interactions that often pass unnoticed in the day-to-day.

Design Consultation
Before your session, you’ll meet for a design consultation where we plan the look and feel of your portraits together. This includes backdrop selection, styling guidance, and coordination support so everything feels cohesive and intentional.
You don’t need to know exactly what you want ahead of time — this appointment is designed to help you figure that out.
Session Day
On session day, you’ll be guided through posing and interaction in a relaxed, unrushed way. The focus is on natural connection — laughter, quiet moments, and genuine expression — so your portraits feel authentic rather than forced.
Viewing & Ordering Appointment
After your session, you’ll return for a private viewing and ordering appointment. This is when you’ll see your portraits for the first time and receive guidance in selecting favorites and choosing how you’d like to enjoy them in your home.
All Families & Kids sessions follow a thoughtfully guided, full-service process — from the initial design consultation through final artwork selection.
Session fees reserve your time and planning, with portraits and heirloom artwork selected later during a dedicated viewing appointment once you’ve seen your images.
